I really like how Sasha is good friends with all of the characters that have eye issues! It's so good that she's making friends! I'm sure the eye thing doesn't mean anything! I'm sure we don't have anything to worry about! :)
i totally missed it until my second watch but the cut on Phillip's nose starts to widen after he broke open that palisman, and you can see it further extending over his face (diagonally) in the shot where he's talking about the collector - not only did lilith break his nose, she's also responsible for that huge rotten gash across his face. go girl go
I love the fact that if you look closely, you can see smudge drawings that resemble Lilith and Luz in the echo mouse recording which foreshadows that they were going to meet Phillip. I love it when episodes involving time travel do clever things like that.
What if Lilith bumping her head isn’t merely foreshadowing? What if its another hint the crew gives us as to the portal’s origins?
Remember, Eda found it half buried in the sand, in a place she didn’t recognize despite it being in her own backyard.
Time pools as shown in this episode temporally distort their surroundings as demonstrated by Lilith’s tree experiment, albeit by altering the age of the local flora. We saw a whole graveyard, and most conspicuously, an eclipse, a symbol of the moon, which in itself is a symbol of the mysterious Collector. Eda could’ve unwittingly walked into or near a very powerful pool out of which the portal would’ve been thrown in.
Also, Eda stated the portal was pretty old when she found it. There’s no way Belos would’ve just left it lying around in some random cemetery for 350+ years if he did finish it. This explains why he took so long to enact his plan despite living through several days of Unities. At the time eda found it, she appears to be in her teens, meaning this is about 20 years since Belos came to power. He probably did some magical mathematics and primed his rise to power for when he estimated the portal would reappear.
Okay, when this line was first said, a lot of people wondered what it meant— Belos already met Luz back in season one, after all.
I just realized: season one was the first time Luz met Belos, but not the first time Belos met Luz. Belos must’ve both recognized Luz and realized that, chronologically for her, she hasn’t gone back in time yet to show him the light glyph
“The emperor looks forward to meeting you in the past so you can teach him the final glyph”
extremely mad (affectionate) about how our protagonist goes back in time and gives the villain the one magic glyph he didn’t have, inadvertently helping him in his rise to power, possibly giving him the last glyph he didn’t have and completing his knowledge of magic and its the first glyph she ever learned and its the light glyph and her name is luz.
